Leonid Kozlov Dance International. Inc. (KDI), is a not for profit performing
company of professional dancers and advanced students, based in Ridgewood, New Jersey. KDI was founded
in 1991, with the goals to develop students’ innate talent and bring them to a professional level of dance as well as
bring an awareness of art and culture to the community. KDI’s performances have been recognized by
major newspapers and organizations including The New York Times, The Star Ledger, and The Record.
Students of KDI have performed at the United Nations, The Russian Embassy in Washington D.C., the Plaza Hotel,
and Merkin Concert Hall in NYC. Several students have participated in the Tanzolymp
Children’s Dance Festival in Berlin, Germany and the Youth America Grand Prix in NYC. The repertory
of KDI includes, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake (Act II), Don Quixote, Giselle (Act II), Paquita, The Firebird, La Vivandiere,
Chopiniana, Pas de Quatre, and original works choreographed by Leonid Kozlov.
